The SAlSA District Championships took place April 14/15 in the Charleston Harbor off of James Island Yacht Club. Congratulations to Antilles, St Thomas Aquinas and Shorecrest Prep for finishing in 1st through 3rd place and advancing on to the National competition next month.
Jacksonville University graciously hosted the SAISA 2012 Spring Intersectional Regatta on Saturday, March 17, 2012. The St Croix team took top honors with five bullets. The top Inland/Coastal team was Beaufort Academy, and they have secured a berth in the 2012 ISSA Great Oaks Regatta to be held at SYC in New Orleans in November.
The 2012 Gold Regatta took p l ace on March 10th and 11th 2012. Ten teams sailed hard to try and fin i sh in the top 7 and gain a berth to the 2012 SAISA District Championships, to take place next month on April 14th and 15th in Charleston. Congratulations to Bishop England who won the regatta and SAISA NP and in order of finish to, Richmond Hill, Porter Guad, Wando, Academic Magnet, Ashley Hall, and Wakefield who all won berths to SAlSA Districts.
