Saint Thomas Aquinas High School took first place, followed by Key School in second, and Christchurch School in third place.
We just finished the ISSA Annual meeting last Friday during the Cressy Championships sponsored by Laser Performance being held at Old Dominion University. We had all 7 of our districts represented which is very important as we set various goals for our future. We have stability with our Board members with strong continuity each year as we move forward. This year we awarded Rob Hurd the Geoff Spranger Award recognizing extraordinary dedication and selflessness, and Bill Campbell and Mike Segerblom with the President’s Award for exception service to ISSA. Congratulations to all 3 well deserving recipients.
Congratulations to Paul Didham from Point Loma High for winning the Cressy Trophy in the Laser Full Rig.
The top 36 singlehanded high school sailors from around the country will descend upon the Old Dominion University Sailing Center starting Friday, October 30 to compete in the Cressy High School Singlehanded Championship sponsored by LaserPerformance and the Old Dominion University Sailing Team in Norfolk, VA.
