Greetings SAISA Members!

I hope this finds everyone back on the water and gearing up for a strong Spring
Sailing Season. A couple of reminders…….

Please check our Face Book page for regular updates and posts. ‘Like’ us while you’re at it. Our
blast email system is cumbersome at this point, and FB allows easy access to information. Google

•   Calling all female High School Sailors. Sign up now for SAISA Girls
Champs, March 11, 2017, hosted by Jacksonville University! Come early and practice with college
sailors on Friday, and also enjoy lunch on race day provided by the gracious hospitality of JU
(vegetarian options available). (NOR, Waivers & Registration Forms posted on SAISA web site.)

•  SAISA continues to grow (a great thing), and that means that more teams are being asked to bring
boats to events in both the North & South. We cannot stress enough how important it is that the
boat you bring to an event be in condition that is on par with the rest of the fleet provided by
our gracious hosts!  Read your NOR’s, check with regatta organizers and bring good boats!
Otherwise, you risk being moved down to JV or being denied participation all together.  Let’s keep
our racing as fair as possible!
